Resources on Ruth

There is not a comma in Scripture that is not directed to the saving of people. When Naomi’s husband and sons died, she was left a widow and childless. The future for her was empty, but the action of this story brings us to a great climax. Naomi is restored by the actions of Ruth, her daughter-in-law, and Boaz, her kinsman-redeemer. God fills and restores Naomi so that her line is forever linked with David, the greatest king Israel ever knew and an ancestor of Jesus the Messiah.
